Transportation
Transportation is responsible for student transportation and safety. Oakland does not provide bussing for every student, but must provide bussing for certain student groups including Special Education which is contracted out to a vendor. Transportation also coordinates with AC Transit and the Oakland Police department to provide bus access and crossing guards.
