Health Services (Nurses)
Health Services assigns a nurse to every school site to assist students with health conditions or special education plans. A school may have a nurse for 8 to 40 hours a week depending on its needs. Nurses conduct special education assessments, state-mandated hearing and vision screenings, and refer families to other agencies. Health Services is a Community Schools & Student Services service.
